The premiere episode kicked off with an exciting and dynamic opening number, featuring all of the celebrities and dancers, along with returning head judge Len Goodman. The night continues with each couple dancing a cha cha, fox trot, jive, tango or quickstep, vying for America’s vote for the first time.  There will be no eliminations this week, all couples will move on to week 2.

Judges comments on Jodie’s DWTS Premiere Tango: Len: “It had spirit, it had attack and sometimes it had attitude but it got a bit hectic. You got to work on it, keep your head still, but it was good.” Bruno: “I didn’t know you could be so alluring, the purpose you put into it was good. I thought it was a very strong performance overall.” Carrie Ann: “That was very impressive, your hands in the right place. Something was going on in your jaw, that made it looked almost like a snarl. Work on that, because that is the middle of it all.”

Judges scores: Carrie Ann: 7 Len: 6 Bruno: 7 = Total 20/30
