Just last night the British foursome Lawson, released their brand new video for their new single “Where My Love Goes”, but this video is a little bit different and has undoubtedly changed two lives forever.
Lawson’s front man and self confessed Beatles maniac Andy Brown took this opportunity to go down on one knee and ask his long term girlfriend Joey McDowall to be his wife! The pair have been dating for three years after Scouser Andy had been in a previous relationship with The Saturdays’ Mollie King and had a fling with Kelly Brook!
The video showed an insight into the pair’s relationship, showing videos throughout of memories in their relationship, including a few images of the pair taking advantage of some Snapchat filters. The idea to propose is clear at the beginning of the video with the whole band letting the fans in on the idea..
“I was so scared. We’ve done amazing gigs all over the world but it was a feeling I’ve never had,” confessed Andy in a recent interview with The Sun. “I collapsed once I’d done it.”
Andy and his three bandmates – Joel Peat, Ryan Fletcher and Adam Pitts tricked Brown’s now fiancée, Joey, who is both a model and a photographer, to come to their video set in order to take pictures of the boys for the behind the scenes video. But all the cameras soon turned to her!
The video shows Andy in mid-song as he wanders up to Joey, unveiling the words “Will You Marry Me?” in lights before popping the question.
Bandmate Joel Peat has described his role in the night as an “absolute honour” whilst continuing to describe Joey as “wicked” and congratulating the happy couple. We here at CelebMix second that congratulations, and we wish Andy and Joey all the best in their future together.
