June 2024 · 3 minute read

Wiz Khalifa suffered a small injury over the weekend that forced him to use walking sticks, but he’s already back on his feet and on the road to recovery.

The Taylor Gang rapper shared a couple of clips with fans on Twitter on Friday (June 23), showing his struggle as he attempted to walk with two walking sticks.

“Small rip in the cartilage of my pelvis but I’ll be right back,” Wiz wrote. “The pain isn’t from the actual tear so soon as the spasms stop i should be Gu Wop.”

It didn’t take long to make progress. The very next day, he was able to ditch the sticks.

“4 legs was cool but i like two better,” Wiz wrote on Saturday (June 24) with a video of him walking with a massage gun.

The injury arrived just weeks before Wiz Khalifa is set to hit the road with Snoop Dogg for a summer tour, so it’s a good thing that he’s already healing!

Too $hort, Warren G, Berner and special guest DJ Drama will also join Wiz for the 33-city High School Reunion Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the trek kicks off on July 7 in Vancouver and passes through Denver, St. Louis, Brooklyn, Virginia Beach and more before wrapping just outside of Los Angeles on August 27. Tickets are available now here.

Just before departing, Wiz Khalifa blessed fans with a surprise mixtape full of new songs.

After teasing the tape days earlier, the Taylor Gang rapper dropped the 25-trackSee Ya on June 14. While features are kept to a minimum, production is handled by the likes of Wiz’s in-house producer ID LABS alongside Lex Luger, Iamsu! and more.

Some were hoping to see Wiz’s unreleased Lex Luger collab that was previewed last month at Pharrell‘s Something In The Water festival, but it didn’t make the cut.

Previously, Wiz explained that Young Thug’s incarceration was why the song hadn’t dropped.
